- Turkey's defence ministry reported that the first merchant vessel grain from Ukraine left the nearby town of Odesa for Lebanon.
- The cargo ship Razoni, which flies the flag of Sierra Leone, was carrying upwards of 26,000 tonnes of corn, according to an assertion from the UN.
Fighting
- People's democratic party ( PDP Senkevych, the mayor of Mykolaiv, claimed that the more and over 12 missile strikes—likely the most powerful to hit the city in the five months preceding the war—hit homes and schools, resulting in two confirmed fatalities and three injuries.
- Oleksiy Vadatursky, the founder and CEO of the agricultural firm Nibulon, was a grain tycoon. He and his wife were found dead in their home, according to Mykolaiv Chancellor Vitaliy Kim on Telegram.
- According to Mikhail Razvozhayev, the governor of the Crimean port city, five members of the Russian navy's staff were injured in an explosion in the Russian-occupied Sevastopol after what was thought to be a drone flew into the courtyard of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
- The Sevastopol attack occurred on the same day that Russia celebrated its Navy Day. To honour the occasion, President Vladimir Putin declared that the navy would soon receive "formidable" hypersonic Zircon cruise missiles.
